In a recent Twitch stream, BetBoom Team’s Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek assessed Team Falcons’ form and shared some thoughts on the team. He deemed the team to be one of the best Dota 2 teams right now amidst the lack of formidable competitors in the current professional Dota 2 landscape. 

Team Falcons has been making headlines in recent times and won two consecutive tournaments in 2024 namely the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and the recently concluded DreamLeague Season 22. Notably, Team Falcons encountered TORONTOTOKYO’s BetBoom Team four times during the DreamLeague Season 22 and did not lose a single series against them. It even snatched the title from BetBoom in the grand finals.

He further emphasized the relative strength of Team Falcons within the current Dota 2 ecosystem and characterized them as one of the standout teams globally, capable of delivering commendable performances amidst the lack of dominant contenders. 

Comparing Team Falcons to other top-tier teams such as Xtreme, he underscored the significant gap in skill and prowess, indicating the limited number of powerhouse teams in the Dota 2 professional landscape.

Due to the win, Team Falcons rocketed through the EPT Leaderboard and are now sitting comfortably at the second position of the leaderboard standing. The EPT Leaderboard standing will be used to decide which teams will participate at Riyadh Masters at the Esport World Cup 2024. 

Notably, Team Falcons are currently on a 23-game win streak and are gearing up for the upcoming ELITE League, an online tournament that will kick off on 31st March. Team Falcons will undoubtedly aim to conquer the ELITE League for a hat-trick tournament win.
