BJ Penn needs help.
The former UFC lightweight champion, who also held gold at 170 pounds, continues to lose touch with reality and post his downward spiral on social media. In his latest Instagram video, Penn insists the government murdered his mother and replaced her with a lookalike impostor.

Penn is clearly not okay.
“This lady right here, look at her a** and legs,” Penn said. “She is acting like my 79 year-old mother, but she is not my 79 year-old mother. She’s trying to steal everything and this is not my mother. And I’m putting this out because she’s saying she’s going to get an attorney and try to do something. She’s trying to throw me out and if I attack her, she’ll try to do something, TRO [temporary restraining order] or something else.”
Not surprisingly, fans on Instagram are begging “The Prodigy” to seek treatment.
released back in late 2019 after losing seven straight fights. In the years following his retirement, Penn found himself back in the headlines for all the wrong reasons and it appears his situation is going from bad to worse.
The Hawaiian ran for governor back in 2022 but failed to capture the Republican primary.
