The support for Team Falcons, Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen, recently revealed that MOUZ still owed him salary from during his time with the organization over ten years ago.
This revelation was brought to light on 27th March 2024, Wednesday, during one of Cr1t-’s recent Twitch streams.
Cr1t joined MOUZ (then known as mousesports) on 16th October 2013, but left the team after the organization disbanded its Dota 2 roster in early 2014 because it could not keep a stable roster after Troels Lyngholt “syndereN” Nielsen left the lineup and quit playing professionally.
Cr1t- Sheds Light on Unpaid Salary from MOUZ
During one of Cr1t-’s recent Twitch streams, the support player revealed that MOUZ – which made a comeback to the pro-Dota scene after seven long years has still not paid his salary which has been overdue since 2014.
He said, “Guys, do you want to hear something funny? I used to play for Mousesports, right? And they still owe me a salary from like 10 years ago. They never paid me out. Isn’t that funny?”
Cr1t- also mentioned that he cannot take any actions against the organization as it underwent a complete overhaul.
Pointing out his helpless situation he further added, “Now they’re back in Dota, it’s a completely different organization with different owners and everything, I think. But it’s just funny. I don’t think I can technically sue them because I think they went bankrupt or something at some point in between, and then the old owners—it’s not the same. I just thought it’s funny.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop there and there have been numerous reports of tournament organizers not paying their participants. Dota 2 statistician Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen started a debt tracker to keep track of all the unpaid debts to Dota 2 organizations and the list is massive!
