Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White’s series Lookin’ for a Fight returned after an eight-month break with a new episode, where White awarded two UFC contracts. One fighter will debut this weekend (Sat., May 17, 2025), at UFC Vegas 106, held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Unlike previous episodes, where White, Din Thomas, and Matt Serra scout talent at regional events in the episode’s namesake city, this “Tampa” episode featured the trio evaluating fights on a screen and issuing contracts virtually.
The show that White checked out was Z-Fight Night (ZFN), UFC legend The Korean Zombie’s new promotion, and in the showcase fight was between Dorobshokh Nabotov, a then-unbeaten fighter from Tajikistan who decided to shoot his shot during UFC 308’s pre-fight press conference for a contract, and Brazilian powerhouse Matheus Camilo.
The Nabotov dropped a unanimous decision to Camilo, and White was so impressed that the Brazilian earned a contract.
